Walt Disney World: Dress your Princess up for LESS on your next DisneyWorld Vacation

Imagine your little princess walking through Walt Disney World resort her head held high and compliments flying at her for her amazing Princess get-up. With these tips and links you will be able to dress your princess up for her visit to the most magical place on earth and it will be at a minimal cost to you! The best thing is that her outfits will be unique and made to fit to her. Another awesome thing about these options is that they will be more comfortable than those hot itchy princess dresses that they sell at the parks. If your princess isn’t interested in going all out with a full on ball gown style dress I will also show you some options that are minimal but still in the spirit of your Disney World trip. Before we start be sure that you check out the bonus frugal tip for your next Disney World trip at the end! You won’t want to miss it!

There are so many options for making your own costumes for your little princess. Unfortunately these options do not come with cute little singing animals to help you out but not to worry each of the selected options are very user friendly and provide very detailed instructions. Even if you aren’t too crafty you will be able to manage a beautiful dress for your princess. A lot of them feature no-sew or practically no-sew dresses made mostly with tulle! Tulle is great for comfort since it is so light weight. Check out each of these options in order to find which pattern and/or design fits your princess’s wants and needs!

This tutorial from Tatertots & Jello is designed to resemble The Little Mermaid but can be made from different colors to make it look like your princess’s favorite dress! This is a completely no-sew option.

Using this tutorial from Seven Thirty Three  it is also possible to create different looks by changing the colors of the items used! Keep in mind that the pattern and materials used in the tutorial are made to fit an 18 month old so you may have to adjust it accordingly. This option includes a small bit of sewing and you would need to have access to a sewing machine in order to complete the dress.

This is another tutorial from Domestic Superhero that can be used to make different princess dresses just by subbing some different colored fabrics and adding or leaving out some embellishments. This one also involves a minimal amount of sewing as well as the availability of a sewing machine.

Here is another pattern from U Create that you can utilize to make different princesses dresses just by changing the color of the materials! It is relatively simple but will require the use of a sewing machine.

If you think it would be fun to pair a cute tutu with a comfy top to dress your princess I found a very easy to follow guide here at DIY network ! You could even make them even more like all the best princess dresses by layering more than one color of tulle!

Now if your princess isn’t interested in being dressed for the ball by donning a dress during your visit these Etsy shops would be the perfect alternative. They both sell hair bows inspired by your favorite Disney characters. Or maybe you want to pick the perfect bow to wear to match with your princess or just rock your own personal favorite! The options are almost endless. You can rest assured that if you order anything from either of these two Etsy shops you will be getting something made by hand by someone who truly love making them. Bottom line you will get a quality item from an amazing person.

If you aren’t feeling very crafty here are a few links to Etsy sites that will make you a unique dress just for your princess! They can be a bit more expensive than making your own but you will still be getting a good quality dress that is made to fit your little princess as perfectly as Cinderella’s glass slipper!
